Greetings from Haugola,

The Haruchai and the Elohim is a kinship for The Lord of the Rings Online. We were founded in June of 2007, and have had a stable officership since the beginning. Many of our players have been playing since beta, and many of them are newer.

We consider ourselves a kin that raids, not a raiding kin. We have accomplished, with kin-only groups, the majority of the raid content available. We do not require certain traits, gear, or experience to raid. While you are welcome to raid with us, it is neither required nor necessarily expected that you raid with us upon reaching cap. We have some players that desire to raid constantly, and others that are in the kin for the social elements and don't do any group content. It's entirely your choice.

We have never required an application to join The Haruchai and the Elohim, but we have always set a standard of expectation. All players should be kind, courteous, and respectful to other players. Disrespect will not be tolerated. There is more leniency for members than for recruits, but all members of H&E are expected to treat others-- both inside the kin and outside-- with respect. If you have concerns or wish to comment about another member, please contact an Officer. While joining H&E is generally open to all, membership requires a time and energy commitment. Please do not expect to be instantly promoted to "Member" from "Recruit". When you are promoted to "Member", it is because an Officer believes you have been with the kin for a sufficient amount of time and shown coherency with the kin's tone.

We have a set of standards and guidelines that Officers are expected to follow. We have only had a few issues of Officers acting out of line, and all of them have been dealt with, to my knowledge. I am proud to say that we have one of the best officerships in the entire game, and I'm confident that any one of these given people could successfully steer our kin in an emergency. I have full faith in them and the kin could not thrive without them.
